From an original unmarked early pre-Revolutionary War Kentucky rifle. This simple box style was typical of the first attempts at metal patchboxes. The rifle it appears on was Reading School architecture. Overall:1-3/4"x 7-1/2". Not engraved. Door close spring #21220 included.
