Quite beautiful when engraved as seen on the original rifle by Leonard Reedy of Gratz Town in Dauphin County, Pa. circa 1800-1835. His work is from the Womelsdorf-Reading School of gunsmithing. He apprenticed under master gunsmith John Bonewitz. Finial:2-1/4"x3-5/8". Door:1-1/4"x5-3/16". Widest Sideplate:7/8"x 5". Not engraved.
