Domed lid early style patchbox, dated 1793, in brass. Copy of an original Herman Rupp box right down to the hinge style. Not engraved. Finial mount lid lift spring is the only spring included with this box as it is meant to be used with a release kit. We leave the domed lid open on the end, so that you can cut it in the shape and length that you need. We include a small piece of brass for you to shape and solder on to close the end of the dome.
