This product is blended to have many of the characteristics of Sperm Whale oil (Sperm Whale oil can no longer be sold today). So far, Ryan has found this to be the best product on the market for use on shotgun wads as well as shooting and cleaning patches. Using this on your shotgun wads virtually stops leading of the barrel, and makes clean up a cinch! Although this oil thickens at sub freezing temperatures, it still functions well and will not completely freeze, as water based lubes will. This is a non petroleum product. 8 oz. bottle.
