This is the pin punch I use for pushing through our 1/16” diameter pin stock used in the fore stock. A useful tip for you is to round the ends of your pins slightly so that they will ease through the existing hole and not cut through, or punch out chunks of wood on the opposite side. Also, slot your underlugs from front to back, not up and down, to allow the barrel to move when stock and barrel expand and contract due to temperature and recoil.
